The DS Agile from ALSTOM T&D provides combined protection, control and supervision for transmission and distribution substations. It is organized around a powerful local communication network with double fibre-optic rings that allow significant wiring savings. The use of Bay Modules which communicate with ALSTOM’s range of protective relays and which also perform the automation functions, gives the DS Agile system both flexibility and security of operation. Whether it is a new substation or an upgrading work, the system performances are identical.
